Is there a time limit here?
Hey, how long does it take for the loose tooth to fall out???? It's been over a month now, and Jordan's first loose tooth isn't much looser than it was when we discovered it! I'm beginning to think that the twins will be going into second grade before getting their first permanent teeth!

totally...such a long time!!!! Maddie's has been loose for EVER - so really I have the same question!
Even though Austin will be 7 in July, he doesn't even have a loose tooth. I really wish teachers wouldn't put up "Lost Tooth" charts (one of the Kindergarten teachers last year did this). It isn't a race, and these kids have no control over it.
To not answer your question - I have no idea!
I think that's why this is such a big deal. Both boys have had "Lost Tooth" charts for K and now 1st grade.
My next dilema will be what the tooth fairy leaves!
Logan lost his first tooth about 3 weeks ago. I don't remember how long it was loose. I was out of town so tooth fairy spence left him $1. He was so excited! Then his grandma debbie (who spoils my kids) sent him a check for $10 for losing his first tooth. Great! Now I hope he doesn't expect that for every tooth!
Logan's class has a tooth chart also. Maybe they teach that in college to teachers- that they have to have that chart in your classroom or something!
Josh and Heather have both lost quite a few teeth. Actually, Heather has almost caught up with Josh in number of teeth lost. The dentist said that girls lose teeth faster than boys. I don't know why. Once in awhile, if a tooth hangs on too long, I will wrap dental floss around it and flip it out. It actually has done the trick a couple of times. Anyway, the Tooth Fairy leaves $2 per tooth at our house...when she remembers...which she usually does...
