Seriously, So Cute

I find myself saying these words to my baby ALL DAY LONG. My baby is seriously SO CUTE! In a life of major chaos (aka five kids), Eli is my anchor through the day. He helps me remember to just be happy. He helps me remember how much I love all of my children. (It helps that he can't talk back yet, and that he never has to reminded to get working on his homework!)

I pick him up, or just get close enough for him to see me, and his face lights up and the whole room lights up with happiness. His smile is so contageous.
When he smiles, everything around me seems to slow down. The business of everyday life changes to a moment worth savoring, and the stress of the previous moments just slips away. I realize that my children are the most important task at hand, and that there really isn't anything else I want to be spending my time on. I understand the innocence of my children and want to help fix the little mistakes that happen intead of being upset with them or wanting to hand out punnishments. Eli, you have saved your siblings from the wrath of Mom more than once!
I have delayed putting pictures of him on my blog because my humble photography skills just can't do his cuteness justice! Here he is, three months old. My darling little boy.

So cute!!! If having Eli helps mellow you that much I guess I need a baby. Could you hear our family last night from your house? I think all the kids were either crying or screaming all at the same time at several different times . Lets just say it was a rough night.

I can't believe how much he looks like Tanner when he was a baby! I miss this little one and haven't even met him. . .what an adorable little boy. There's nothing I'd rather do right now than hold him at your house :)

I miss that about babies. I used to sit down to nurse, rock or cuddle my babies and nothing else mattered. I cherished that time with them...unless they were screaming or something. :) I didn't even realize you had 5 kids! Wow!

I love what you posted! I need to remember that. It is very humbling! Some days I'm still trying to recover from all the "spiritedness" and talking back. Can't believe how much he's grown. He's such a cutie! We miss you guys!

I know exactly what you mean. I honestly believe that Paige often reminds me how much I love the other two when I can't think of a definite reason! He is absolutely adorable, and I just want to munch on those cheeks! I am so happy that you are relishing him.

Missing you missing you. This is the strangest Christmas without my siblings around. Sad and lonely, yet busy crazy with too many other things. Miss seeing you guys. Give Sydney kisses from me until I see her. We must get together.
